These vulnerabilities affect supported versions of Citrix Workspace app for Windows before 1912 and supported versions of Citrix Receiver for Windows. These vulnerabilities do not affect Citrix Workspace app and Receiver on any other platforms. What Customers Should Do.

There is a difference in the way the thumbprint is calculated for applications in Receiver 4.9.6 and Workspace 1912. Due to this difference in design, there is a mismatch in the thumbprints when upgrading from Receiver 4.9.6 to WorkspaceApp 1912. This is causing the applications to reinstall, which in turn is causing the disappearance of the shortcuts.
From Workspace 1809, the above mentioned features have been added in the thumbprint calculation and the upgrade from 1809 to any higher version does not see this issue.
After the reboot, and after logging in again, you might see a Locate ‘Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 LTSR CU2’ installation media window. Don’t click anything yet. Go to the CitrixVirtualAppsandDesktops719122000.iso file and mount it. Go back to the Locate ‘Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 LTSR CU2’ installation media window. You can override the Citrix Workspace Updates setting using the Advanced Preferences option. This configuration is per-user and the settings apply only to the current user. Note: You can hide all or part of the Advanced Preferences sheet available from the Citrix Workspace app icon in the notification area.

The VM appears to be mapping the local audio devices, however they all appear as 'Citrix HDX Audio' where as before, it reflects the actual local audio device names.

Also, in addition to the names not appearing, there is also no audio coming through. Have tried restarting the VM, service, client ICA, client PC, and reinstalling the ICA workspace client.
